SO much better than the original
This is worth every penny. The original part (which I have replaced once already) was a piece of junk - the adjuster mechanisms were flimsy and all the plastic pieces wore out after a few years of use. I'm a little worried about the plastic wheels on this new piece as they are still likely to fail but I am so much happier with this mechanism overall. The instructions for install were poor, but if you are good with repairs it is not too difficult to figure out.
