Water Valve for Kenmore Refrigerator
This was an exact replacement for the valve that went bad on our Kenmore refrigerator. It came with a kit to modify it to fit if needed, but it fit perfectly out of the box. I now have strong water from the dispenser and solid ice cubes.

Valve for Whirlpool
We have a model ED25TEXHW00 Manufactured 9/1999, purchased in 2000. The ice maker stopped making ice. The ice maker control was making a rattling noise, so we replaced the ice maker control. Quiet now, but no ice. Upon testing, found water not flowing to ice maker. Check valve solenoids, which worked fine using jumpers at the controller. We decided to replace both valve sets, BUT could not find compatible valves for our Whirlpool model. So, compared images of what was available with those in our refrigerator. Purchased the closest ones. This dual solenoid product matched with the exception that the inlet tube was facing up instead of straight out and would have required replacing the tubing. The answer: we replaced both solenoids, removing the solenoids from the new valve and installing on the old valve. Issue solved, apparently the solenoid became weak over the 20 years to date. We also did the same with the single valve included in the Whirlpool refrigerator.
